Favorite Pins Friday!

This is my first Favorite Pin Friday!

Click the button to link up, or see more pins!

First off, thank you Ladybug's Teacher Files for this!
I really could have used this this year. I swear those kids eat pencils!

Unfortunately, the Pin I have was not link to the original post.
If anyone knows please let me know! But anyways, how great is this?

This bracelet from Blessed Garden!

Floral dresses! Like this gorgeous one from The Stylish Housewife.
I don't know if I want to go back to wearing dress pants next year.

This dish located on ReadySetEat looks amazing and healthy.
I'll let you know how it is!

Now for something sweet! Pecan Pie Bars from The Comfort of Cooking.
I love pecans. This looks lethal!

Well, that's it for this Friday. Hope you saw something that was "pinteresting" to you!

My favorite classroom apps

Since I will be trying out a flipped classroom next year, the newest common core craze, I have been spending all my downtime the last few days researching and trying out loads of website and apps in hopes to find a platform that is clean and engaging for my students. Here are a few that I have played with that have met my high standards.

Parents can now download the ClassDojo App to monitor their child’s behavior throughout the day. I will post more details on how I used this last year. My kids absolutely loved it.
Android: Search Google Play or visit www.classdojo.com/android
Apple: Search the Apple App Store or visit www.classdojo.com/ios
Other devices: visit www.classdojo.com/mobile

Students take a placement test and then work at their own pace. After I created my teacher account, I enrolled myself as a "student" just to see how it work from their end... and SO COOL.
Choose your device here: http://www.scootpad.com/mobile

"Edmodo is designed to get students excited about learning in a familiar environment. On Edmodo, teachers can continue classroom discussions online, give polls to check for student understanding, and award badges to individual students based on performance or behavior." It looks just like Facebook! Search your app store.

Dropbox is great way to have all of your most important teacher files and folders with you at all times! Smartphones, iPads, computers, or anywhere with internet. It's all there. I have it on my home computer and my school laptop just in case I choose to keep my laptop at school. You can also share folders with another Dropbox users or just share a link to it. I use my Public folder to store information for my parents and just have a link to it on my class website. Let me refer you!

Has anyone tried or will be trying flipped classroom? Do you have any suggestions?
